    A World Champion Sailor!

    We have a world champion helmsperson in our midst! In November 2025, IWFCT Member Laura Grondin won the world championship sailing trophy for J/70 craft in Buenos Aries — the first female ever to do so!! This is truly the most coveted in sailing.

    As impressive, this past February, Laura was also named the 2025 Rolex Yachtswoman of the Year. Way to go, Laura!
